Hello lovely people!
How are you all doing? Hope you all are enjoying the arrival of winters . I wrote my new blog which is all about Makeup for Begineers.Make-up in my opinion is one of the greatest invention, not to make you more beautiful or “fair”, but to enhance your already existing features. But, when someone is just starting out makeup, it can get a little intimidating on what products to choose and what will most likely suit your skin. Even professional make-up artists have had these thoughts before they started out.
Putting on a fresh, pretty face of makeup is actually quite an art. If you want it to, makeup can do magical things, completely transforming your face, or simply enhancing your features. Whether you want a basic, natural look or something a little more sultry, makeup tutorials are a great way to learn tricks of the beauty trade. With a few tools, some practice, and the ability to blend in makeup with your fingertips, you’ll be a makeup pro in no time. Even if you’re just a beginner, you’ll find these steps to be simple and thorough.
If you’re like me, you’re not one for wearing a lot of makeup on the daily, but there are some basic makeup tricks that are helpful to have in your arsenal. You don’t always want to be wearing the same makeup look out at night that you wore to work during the day. A simple cat eye, smokey eye or contour and highlighting session can totally amp up your look with just a little bit of skill. These techniques aren’t difficult, but it’s important to know the step-by-step from the very start. This way there’s no guessing and you’ll be able to master these looks in a snap!
From a no-makeup makeup look to wear from day to night, to applying eyeliner and eyeshadow like a pro, these are the best step-by-step makeup tutorials for beginners.
P.S: I’m not a make-up artist neither am I pro but from what I’ve learned over the past couple of years is what I’m going to be sharing with y’all in this post!
The first and most important step is to apply a primer right after you moisturise your face. A primer’s main objective is to close any open pores and make the skin a flawless canvas to work on. The makeup applies easier and stays for a longer period of time. You can even use men’s aftershave cream or Lacto calamine lotion and they work the same way, if you don’t want to invest too much on a primer.
Left to Right – Lacto Calamine lotion, Men’s after-shave cream, Colorbar Perfect Match primer
BB or Beauty Benefit creams are light-weight and provide light coverage. It is more like your skin but better. These creams may hide any slight imperfections on the face and give it a very natural look. CC or Colour correction creams work in almost the same manner, except that they correct any redness or pigmentation on the skin. Foundation on the other hand is more heavy on the skin and completely evens out the skin tone. Choosing the right foundation depends on different factors like skin tone, skin type (whether normal, dry, combination or oily), coverage required, etc.
Left to Right- Maybelline Fit Me, Ponds BB cream, Sephora Teint Infusion
A concealer is mainly used to hide any major imperfections that cannot be hidden merely with a BB/CC cream or foundation like dark circles, acne, freckles, scars etc. You can either choose a concealer that is nearest to your skin tone or you can choose one that is one or two shades lighter than your original skin tone to brighten the under-eye area.
Left to Right- L.A Girl Pro conceal, Chambor Radiant Touch up, Lancome Maquicomplet, Nyx Gotcha Covered
Once the base make-up is done, the face tends to look flat and just one colour, and so a nice pink blush is great to bring back a little colour for those rosy cheeks and give the face a fresh healthy look.
Left to Right- Maybelline V-Face kit, Lancome Blush Subtil, Inglot Face blush
An eyeliner is used to line the lid of the eye along the lash line and this makes the eyes look bigger. Whether over an eyeshadow or just on it’s own, an eyeliner can make your eyes look more awake and big. You can skip this step if you’re not very confident initially.
Left to Right- Chambor Smooth on, Lotus Opulence, Lakme Absolute Shine Line
•KAJAL/KOHL– A kajal or kohl is used on the lower lid along the waterline, again to make the eyes look bigger and more awake. It enhances the eye colour too if your have blue, brown or any other eye colour.
Left to Right – Nykaa eyem Black kajal, Lakme eyeconic kajal
•MASCARA– When you’re just starting off make-up you can skip this step initially, but I personally absolutely love using mascara on my lashes. They make it look fuller, voluminous and lengthier and that makes the eyes look absolutely beautiful.
•LIPSTICK– My most favourite part of makeup without a doubt are lipsticks! They can make or break a look. Choose a shade that best suits your skin tone and according to your preference whether matte, semi-matte, glossy, etc,. If you’re confused about what shade to go for, in my opinion opt for a Red shade because it is universally flattering.
Left to Right- Nykaa Paintstix, Lakme 9-5, LA Girl matte liquid lipstick, Lakme Absolute Argan oil, Miss claire, Maybelline, Elle 18 Color Pops Matte
You can switch up things and see what works best for you. Play around with makeup and you’ll be surprised at the looks you can create over time. You can slowly start adding in steps like contouring, highlighting, doing your brows, etc. It takes a lot of practice and patience but you can definitely get there! All the best guys!
Will be back with something new and interesting hopefully you are going to like that as well. These are so available makeup product which u can get easily on any shop or online as well..
Bye & Take Care
Loads of Love ❤️
