Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement Review

Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement Review & Swatch-

Hey my lovelies!

Not everybody likes the idea of oiling their hair & particularly in times like this when most among us working women rushing to work every single day, staying with their oiled hair up in a bun is quite unthinkable. Enter the new products called oil replacements ^_^ Pantene has very recently come up with their own version of it & that is what I am going to review today.

Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement Review

What Pantene Says-

IT COMBINES THE POWER OF PRO-VITAMIN FORMULA AND A NOURISHING OILS

CREAMY AND NON-STICKY

TAKES SECONDS TO APPLY

GIVES 2X STRONGER HAIR THAN OIL

SMELLS AMAZING

Ingredients:

Price: 85/- INR for 80 ml & 150/- INR for 180 ml

My take on the Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement-

The new product comes in a sleek, golden plastic tube with a golden flip-top cap which makes this easy to use & stash it into your bag anytime, anywhere. Goodbye leaky oils!

The product is whitish in color with a creamy-gel consistency which is very easy to spread on the lengths & ends of my damp, washed hair Since I have very thin hair, I only need a very little bit & apply it on my hair before combing through it. It instantly detangles my hair & I have noticed lesser hair fall due to breakage while combing.

After my hair dries, I love how sleek & soft it feels along my frizz controlled to a large extent ^_^ It smells amazing as well & is not weighed down at all. On the very first day though, I used a blob of the product & my hair immediately felt sticky & went limp. So, a little goes a long way!

I have also tried it actually in place of my oil as a pre-shampoo mask before washing my hair & I must say it left my hair feeling & smelling so great ^_^

The fragrance is amazing as I have already mentioned It is the typical Pantene fragrance which I have always loved & I love how long it lingers in my hair

Pros of the Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement:

1> Very convenient & travel friendly tube packaging with flip-top cap.

2> Non-sticky cream-gel texture- easy to apply.

3> Acts great as a leave-in after a hair wash to control frizz & smoothen out my hair.

4> When using it as a pre-shampoo mask, it made my hair very soft & silky

5> Amazing lingering patent Pantene fragrance.

Cons of the Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement:

Of course it cannot be a replacement of hair oil in terms of nutritional benefits like hair regrowth & all.

A little too much can weigh down your hair & make it go greasy

Contains alcohol and parabens

Swatch of the Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement-

My Rating: 4.4/5!

Do I recommend the Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement?

Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement is a very good option as a leave-in for your just washed hair mostly & when you are travelling I hate to travel with any oil because be what it may, it always ends up leaking This oil replacement acts great both as a pre-shampoo mask & a leave-in, smells amazing & is very affordable & travel friendly-yeahh it’s coming on my trip! Recommended!

Soon to come with other blog

Lots of Love ❤️❤️

Everyday hacks for Oil free hair

Hello Girls,

Its an everyday story to get late for school or work! No extra time to apply those lashes or mascara, we are stuck with a big problem: Should we wash our hair?

*_*Common Morning Notions we face:

Its too oily, but I am getting late:~<

I just don’t feel like washing them, but I have an important presentation today :-0

My hair get too fizzy post wash, I cannot wash them :”(

Well, I have some super easy everyday hacks for you girls which you can adapt for your everyday life and skip shampoo a lot of times,

1 Dry Shampoo :  Most of us already know about this, dry shampoo helps to dry out oily greasy hair. Its available in a lot of brands like Bblunt, Loreal, etc. The only  negative part about dry shampoos is the fact that they contain a lot of chemicals, so use them only when you really need to go somewhere urgent.

2 Talcum Powder: This is a great substitute to dry shampoo, it dries out the hair and removes greasiness. Apply it overnight so that you can have oil free hair in the morning. This can be used for 2nd day hair.

3 Cocoa Powder: This is used as a dry shampoo for brown colored hair. I love using this hack!

4  Part your hair: If you do center parting or side parting, you can change your parting style, that will help hide oily greasy hair.

5 Hairstyle: You can make a puff in the center and then tie them at the back. Avoid making tight ponytails as they can make your hair look super oily.

Ideally, you should wash your hair twice a week, frequent washes will make it greasy very often.

Do try these hacks and share the message :*

Will You Happily Accept a Rape Survivor

Just Because She Is A Rape Victim, Does She Not Deserve A Happy Life?

It is sad that there are a number of people out there who only think of a woman as a mere object of sexual gratifications. Backing up to this is the number of rape cases each day seen in the country. The aftermath of this situation brings out an absurd turn of focusing on the victim being wrong than that of the rapist. The world then bullies the person who has been affected the most. However, that being said, there are blessings to the victims in terms of people who have shown them light when all they could think was the trauma that they have been through.

Ever wondered what really goes on in her head during the act?

While being in that situation, the person’s first reaction would be to scream out for help and fight. However, this is not always the case. Studies show that while some might be rebellious but some are shocked during this situation and freeze. The studies also show that how mentally withdrawing oneself from the situation when the physical withdrawal is not possible is a defensive tactic of the victim from which she protects herself from the pain she goes through. Shamefully, there are people who look at the freezing and withdrawing from the situation as a sign of being okay to being raped by the rapist.

When he pulls it out and zips it up.

It is the thinking of the victim where she finally thinks she can escape. However, there is a thought in her conscious mind whether her rapist will let her free. Once she is free, she looks for safety and runs for her home. While escaping, various thoughts would keep coming up to her mind. Earlier, where she was defensive, her mind thinks of it as a rebellion now. It falls short when she reaches home and looks at her family.

To tell or not to tell.

Each survivor reacts to sexual violence in her own way. Some express their emotions right away, whereas, some try to keep everything inside. It is important for a person to respect each survivor’s choices. Forcing to tell what is wrong might just further cause problems.

Rape trauma syndrome.

Rape trauma syndrome (RTS) is the psychological trauma which is seen in a rape victim which leads to disruptions in physical, emotional, cognitive, and interpersonal behavior. Therefore, this stage is the most important stage where the victim can be made or broken. It is extremely important for people to support and be for the victim at all times.

After a few months of reconciliation…

She now feels that rape was not about sex at all, rather it was about control and doing it without consent which made her feel that way. The fact of trusting others is then seen to be obsolete, and there is a sense of detachment from friends, family, and the society as a whole. Isolation becomes the only option to feel at peace.

Reactions to what has changed in her.

There are some who feel she is not ‘clean’ anymore or should be left alone without much attention. The time when she feels betrayed is when those who think she is ‘unclean’ include her parents as well. However, those with a little sense and knowledge within them know what should happen in such situations. They would show her some patience and love that she yearns for. This is how she slowly makes friends and maybe lovers.

Will you marry a rape victim?

There is no exchange of any sort of favour here by marrying a rape victim. It is just a simple reason to why any person will marry the other. It is because they want to. It is sad to think that we live in a society that feels strongly about marrying a rape survivor to be an atrocious thought.

Humanity displayed by Jitender Chhatar.

Jitender, a resident of Jind, Haryana, married a gang rape victim while breaking all social stigmas. He not only married her but also made her enroll in law education to seek justice and help others. The survivor earlier tried to pursue Jitender to marry elsewhere. However, he was determined not to change his decision and not bother about how it may affect his social life. These instances should be just the start of a revolution that needs to come our way.People with such thinking are required at times like now. Brutality is extremely high, and it needs to be decreased as soon as possible with the change in people’s thinking by educating and making them aware of what is important in life.

Bye Take care ✋🏻

Looking Back at 2017

Hey, you guys!

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great and safe new year party, and if you had a quiet one, then, way to go, what an amazing way to commence your new year! 2018 is going to be an amazing year for each one of you, filled with happiness, health, love, success, and opportunities! May you have a great year ahead.

I just wanted to take a few minutes and look back at my 2017, as it went by super fast but it was worth the while.

2017 for me was super fast like I said but super slow in some ways. Career-wise, this was a little low year for me, but it was also like a building year, my base is super strong now. It was like a struggle year for me, but since the foundation is strong, I know there is no looking back now. From now on, there is no stopping, the only way to go is Forward. I had amazing Job opportunities coming my way, but even though the career of my choice wasn’t paying me enough, I decided to give the Job amiss and focus and work hard on my thing, and guess what? I can see it taking some form now, as the last quarter of the year was super amazing. I collaborated with so many brands, attended events, made new friends from the workspace, have so much planned for the Blog and Instagram and now even YouTube.

Throughout this one rollercoaster year, I broke down, but I stood up even taller and stronger. I learned so much about myself, I got to know who really stands for me and who doesn’t. Thank you to all the people who supported me and were there for me, be it my family, friends or even followers, you guys have supported me so much with all the lovely comments, thank you so much. And for all those who weren’t there for me or left me mid-way, thank you too, because I thought I wouldn’t make it without you guys, but you left and I still made it. Thank you for making me so strong.

I have had days of just sitting in my room, feeling low and demotivated, there were days of zero creativity and productivity, but two things always came to the rescue, some words of encouragement from the loved ones and Yoga. Yoga played a crucial part in 2017 for me, the way it has evolved me as a person, my thought process, basically it has tuned-me to a different frequency all together.

I have some huge plans for 2018, but I am going to be bold and strong enough to make all my dreams a reality. I can do that and you can do it, too! Well, there is a different blog post/video for this topic, so stay tuned for that!

How was your 2017?

XOXO

Beginner’s MakeUp Kit

Hello lovely people!

How are you all doing? Hope you all are enjoying the arrival of winters . I wrote my new blog which is all about Makeup for Begineers.Make-up in my opinion is one of the greatest invention, not to make you more beautiful or “fair”, but to enhance your already existing features. But, when someone is just starting out makeup, it can get a little intimidating on what products to choose and what will most likely suit your skin. Even professional make-up artists have had these thoughts before they started out.

Putting on a fresh, pretty face of makeup is actually quite an art. If you want it to, makeup can do magical things, completely transforming your face, or simply enhancing your features. Whether you want a basic, natural look or something a little more sultry, makeup tutorials are a great way to learn tricks of the beauty trade. With a few tools, some practice, and the ability to blend in makeup with your fingertips, you’ll be a makeup pro in no time. Even if you’re just a beginner, you’ll find these steps to be simple and thorough.

If you’re like me, you’re not one for wearing a lot of makeup on the daily, but there are some basic makeup tricks that are helpful to have in your arsenal. You don’t always want to be wearing the same makeup look out at night that you wore to work during the day. A simple cat eye, smokey eye or contour and highlighting session can totally amp up your look with just a little bit of skill. These techniques aren’t difficult, but it’s important to know the step-by-step from the very start. This way there’s no guessing and you’ll be able to master these looks in a snap!

From a no-makeup makeup look to wear from day to night, to applying eyeliner and eyeshadow like a pro, these are the best step-by-step makeup tutorials for beginners.

P.S: I’m not a make-up artist neither am I pro but from what I’ve learned over the past couple of years is what I’m going to be sharing with y’all in this post!

PRIMER:

The first and most important step is to apply a primer right after you moisturise your face. A primer’s main objective is to close any open pores and make the skin a flawless canvas to work on. The makeup applies easier and stays for a longer period of time. You can even use men’s aftershave cream or Lacto calamine lotion and they work the same way, if you don’t want to invest too much on a primer.

Left to Right – Lacto Calamine lotion, Men’s after-shave cream, Colorbar Perfect Match primer

BB/CC CREAM/FOUNDATION

BB or Beauty Benefit creams are light-weight and provide light coverage. It is more like your skin but better. These creams may hide any slight imperfections on the face and give it a very natural look. CC or Colour correction creams work in almost the same manner, except that they correct any redness or pigmentation on the skin. Foundation on the other hand is more heavy on the skin and completely evens out the skin tone. Choosing the right foundation depends on different factors like skin tone, skin type (whether normal, dry, combination or oily), coverage required, etc.

Left to Right-  Maybelline Fit Me, Ponds BB cream, Sephora Teint Infusion

CONCEALER

A concealer is mainly used to hide any major imperfections that cannot be hidden merely with a BB/CC cream or foundation like dark circles, acne, freckles, scars etc. You can either choose a concealer that is nearest to your skin tone or you can choose one that is one or two shades lighter than your original skin tone to brighten the under-eye area.

Left to Right- L.A Girl Pro conceal, Chambor Radiant Touch up, Lancome Maquicomplet, Nyx Gotcha Covered

BLUSH

Once the base make-up is done, the face tends to look flat and just one colour, and so a nice pink blush is great to bring back a little colour for those rosy cheeks and give the face a fresh healthy look.

Left to Right- Maybelline V-Face kit, Lancome Blush Subtil, Inglot Face blush

EYELINER

An eyeliner is used to line the lid of the eye along the lash line and this makes the eyes look bigger. Whether over an eyeshadow or just on it’s own, an eyeliner can make your eyes look more awake and big. You can skip this step if you’re not very confident initially.

Left to Right- Chambor Smooth on, Lotus Opulence, Lakme Absolute Shine Line

KAJAL/KOHL– A kajal or kohl is used on the lower lid along the waterline, again to make the eyes look bigger and more awake. It enhances the eye colour too if your have blue, brown or any other eye colour.

Left to Right – Nykaa eyem Black kajal, Lakme eyeconic kajal

MASCARA– When you’re just starting off make-up you can skip this step initially, but I personally absolutely love using mascara on my lashes. They make it look fuller, voluminous and lengthier and that makes the eyes look absolutely beautiful.

LIPSTICK– My most favourite part of makeup without a doubt are lipsticks! They can make or break a look. Choose a shade that best suits your skin tone and according to your preference whether matte, semi-matte, glossy, etc,. If you’re confused about what shade to go for, in my opinion opt for a Red shade because it is universally flattering.

Left to Right- Nykaa Paintstix, Lakme 9-5, LA Girl matte liquid lipstick, Lakme Absolute Argan oil, Miss claire, Maybelline, Elle 18 Color Pops Matte

You can switch up things and see what works best for you. Play around with makeup and you’ll be surprised at the looks you can create over time. You can slowly start adding in steps like contouring, highlighting, doing your brows, etc. It takes a lot of practice and patience but you can definitely get there! All the best guys!

XOXO,

Will be back with something new and interesting hopefully you are going to like that as well. These are so available makeup product which u can get easily on any shop or online as well..

Bye & Take Care

Winter DIY Hacks

Hello Fellas !!

This time I came up with Fashion DIYs!!

Love fashion? Hate the price tag? Then make your own fashionable clothes and become a trend setter . Recreate ur flats sweater jeans you won’t have to go shopping for a while. You can create them from scratch or upcycle old clothes you already have into new stylish items. Update your closest with these must have tutorials.

Take your old stuff and make something new and interesting.

It’s easy to craft stylish clothes with a few easy steps that will help you revamp your wardrobe.

Apply some of these nifty DIY clothing ideas to your own wardrobe.

With the help of these tutorials you can turn your old clothes into new trendy and stylish pieces.

Clothes are expensive, especially if you are someone who loves to dress in the hottest trends.  However, you can save money and exercise your creative muscle by simply making your own DIY styles. Created a list of the hottest and easiest DIY styles so that you can wear the latest trends without breaking the bank.  Head over to the below to see what you can create.

1. DIY OPEN BACK SWEATER WITH SATIN BOW

Open back sweater DIY! I just can’t help myself though, and I love my latest version.

I found this sweater at the local store for 400 and so I bought three of them. I figured I’d DIY one or two, and I did… but this third one has been sitting in my drawer unworn since I bought it. Recently when I realized I’d been wearing my Pin back version too often, I decided it was time to make another one because as much as I love the way this sweater style hangs in the front, I HATE the long back, so I never wear it… and this was my alternative… and I absolutely LOVE IT.

NOTE: In the photo, Its a braless, but most probably in real life, I’d wear it either layered over a strappy bra, or a lace bodysuit, especially now, in the winter…

Here’s What You’ll Need…

* Sweater, preferably with a medium knit and a heavy weight to it. Mine is 55% cotton 45% acrylic

* Scissors

* Needle & thread & pins

* Large satin ribbon

Steps…

Lay your sweater flat, front down and decide where you want to cut.

If you feel more comfortable marking it out, turn it inside out, draw your cut lines with a ruler.

Instead of cutting a straight panel from the back, as I did with my DIY Safety Pin Sweater, I cut a triangle shape, beginning from the edges and tapering inward toward the collar.

NOTE: My sweater is a high-low… longer in the back, making the sides dip down a bit.

Roll in the edges and pin your new sweater hem.

Using a hemstitch, create your new back edges by sewing the raw edges under.

* NOTE: this worked far better than the running stitch I used in my Saftety Pin Back Sweater because you can’t really see any of the stitches here, whereas in the other one, you can.

Take two large ribbons satin ribbons, cut a flat edge and carefully singe it with a lighter to prevent fraying. Fold the end under twice and pin each to the back side of your sweater collar.

Leave your ribbons as long or as short as you wish and cut your ribbon ends into a pretty V shape and finish with another singe.

And… Voila!

2. DIY TasselI’ve been wearing Loffers from long time . They’re irresistibly comfortable and age so wonderfully over time, molding to my feet in a way that makes me never want to replace them .My love of tassels, I made these fun and colorful versions that are perfect for fall. They’re incredibly easy to make and if you’re able to track down enough leather remnants, you can change the tassels out depending on color and abundance!

You’ll need:

• a pair of Loffers or any footwear which u like

• assorted scrap leather

• tacky glue

• sharp scissors

• ruler

Start by trimming the remnants down to perfect squares. I just tried maximizing each remember by trimming the least amount possible to make it a rectangle that measured between 6 x 3 inches and 4 x 3 inches. Once you have an assortment of rectangular leather pieces, in a variety of colors, you can divide those in half lengthwise to create strips that measure between 3 x 3 inches and 2 x 3 inches. Remember, you’ll need one of each to make 2 tassels of each color.

Turn the leather over and draw a half 1/4 inch line across the top, lengthwise. Cut a fringe without going past that line. A sharp pair of fabric shears will give you a clean cut.

Your fringed pieces should look like this!

Cut off the end piece off of each fringed piece and set aside. Place a small dollop of tacky glue on the top corner at one end of the fringed piece.

Place the thin piece of leather you cut off earlier on top of the glue. Fold in half and seal it with another small dollop of glue. Then, draw a very thin line of glue across the top and roll the leather tightly.

Hold the tassel closed for a couple of minutes before setting it aside to dry completely. Make the rest of the tassels.

To assemble the shoe, simply untie the laces on the moccasins. Thread the tassels onto each each lace – alternating them from longest to shortest.

Push the tassels as close together as possible and tie into a tight knot.

And that’s it – tassel moccasins done! You can even trim them if you feel like the tassels are too long. And remember, these are non-permanent so feel free to change out the colors whenever you see fit. Enjoy!

3. EMBELLISH YOUR DENIM RIPS // DIY RIPPED PEARL JEANS

I randomly clicked on Gigi Hadid’s Twitter account the other day and noticed her header photo was of just her knees, wearing jeans with strings of pearls within the rips in her jeans… AND I LOVED IT!

I’ve done a lot of pearl embellished DIYs, and even a pair of DIY Pearl Embellished Jeans, but I never thought about interweaving the pearls among the rips.

I did far fewer pearl strands than my inspiration photo, because I wanted just a subtle pearl moment, but you can do as many as you like!

Inspiration…

Here’s What You’ll Need…

Ripped jeans… or rip em yourself

Plastic pearls… I used a small pearl and then seed beads in between

Needle/Thread/Scissors

NOTE: this took me about five minutes to complete!

Also NOTE: Although you CAN machine wash these, I’d probably hand wash them and hang or lay them to dry.

Steps…

Double thread your needle and knot the end.

Make sure your thread is at least a few inches longer than your rips… thread your needle through your jeans at the corner/side of your rips and knot it.

String on your beads with a little space in between them.

Every so often, create a knot around a seed bead so that your beads stay within their specific area instead of just all falling to the center of the thread.

Make sure you keep your thread as loose as the threads in between your rips so that they will hang in the same fashion. You don’t want them too tight against your leg.

Bead until you get to the other side, and knot your thread through the edge of your denim rips… make sure you secure it in a place that isn’t going to rip more and just fall out.

Add as many strings of pearls as you like!

And… Voila!

Have Fun!

4. HOW TO MAKE A SHOULDER CUT-OUT SWEATER DIY

This navy one has been sitting in my sweater drawer with the tags on it until last Friday. And now it’s got a whole new look!

What I love about this look is that because of the heavy and loose drape of the sweater, it has a really easy feel to it. It’s comfortably casual, but still chic and pretty.

Here’s What You Need…

Sweater / preferably with shoulder seams from the neck to the arm

Matching thread + needle

Scissors

Steps…

Using a sharp pair of little scissors, CAREFULLY cut the top shoulder seam from neck to arm WITHOUT cutting into the neck or arm seams.

NOTE: If your shoulder doesn’t have a shoulder seam, you’ll have to try it on and measure where exactly the top of the shoulder hits, mark it, then cut it, following the step above.

Roll the edges of your open knit under twice so that the raw edge is completely hidden.

Beginning at the neck, run an easy straight hand stitch along the roll, making sure the smallest amount of thread shows on top and the larger stitches are hidden beneath. Make sure to finish the neck and arm points so that it looks completely smooth.

NOTE: depending on the type of knit of your sweater, you may see a few puckers along your sides, just be careful not to pull too tightly while stitching… keep it nice and loose, but secure.

And really, that’s it!

And… Voila!

That’s all for today 😘😘😘

For sure I will be back soon something more interesting 😍😍

Do let me know about this either u like it or not 🙏🏻

Ur feedback is really mean to me 😘

Pls follow n subscribe my blog☺️☺️

Love u loads n tataahhh ☺️☺️

The packaging is really pretty! It comes in a neat box, the color combination used is Pink and White which is very cute! All the products are neatly presented, there is a clear instruction manual inside the box as well .
